How to Remove a Drawer from a Vanity Unit

If you need to clean your vanity unit, adjust the drawer, or access the plumbing behind it, you may need to remove the drawer first. Fortunately, most modern vanity units are designed so drawers can be removed quickly and easily.

To remove the drawer, pull it out fully until it reaches the stop position. Then locate the release levers on the drawer runners (usually on both sides underneath the drawer). Press the clips while gently pulling the drawer forward. The drawer will slide out from the runners.

Removing the drawer takes only a moment and does not require special tools.
